This is a 250cc BSA motorcycle; an older restoration. We bought the motorcycle in semi-restored condition, and finished the job. The C11 was launched in 1939 and continued to be developed into the 1950s. This one is from 1949. It is a four stroke, single cylinder OHV machine. It has a three-speed transmission. We debated on keeping the motorcycle, but the living room was full. Lol. So we sold it.
Actor Steve McQueen owned a BSA C11 (1951 model), also in green and gold.
