Mechanical Mule runs great. Lots of new parts. Shifts nice; brakes work well. The mule has 4-wheel drive and has a top speed of 25 mph. The steel loops on each wheel hub are to attach parachute lines to it. They were dropped by helicopter to the troops. This was used by the Marines and has its original military registration number on it. Cool mule. Originally built by Willys, the later models like this one were built by Baifield Industries.
