This CZ 150 was produced in Czechoslovakia in 1950. The CZ factory dates back to 1919 where it was founded in the city of Strakonice. The factory ceased production during the war and both the125cc and 150cc 2-stroke motorcycles were the first models sold after they resumed production in 1948. They became one of the most successful motorcycle producers in Europe.
What is unique about this motorcycle is that it has been in the same family since it was new in 1950. The father immigrated to the US in 1951 and brought this motorcycle with him. It is now owned by the next generation where it continues to be a family treasure. This CZ was completely restored by Classic Motorcycles in spring of 2013. It appeared at the Celebration of the Motorcycle in Del Mar the same year.
