Our V7 was an original European model, ex-police motorcycle. It was one of the first Guzzi models that had the 90° V twin engine, designed by Giulio Cesare Carcano, which would become iconic of Moto Guzzi. They also made the 700cc V7 for the US market under the name “Ambassador”. The V7 was often used by the Italian police, either in dark blue — Carabinieri, or green from the Polizia Stradale. Our motorcycle was in the original Carabinieri blue.
This is an ad for the US version of the 750 under the name of the Ambassador.
