Of all the Ducati 900s, the 1975 900 SS is considered the closest to the Imola racer. It retained the 750 SS’s fiberglass tank, 40mm Dell’Orto carbs, Conti exhausts and center-axle Marzocchi forks. The brakes were upgraded to Brembo, with drilled discs. It has the 90-degree V-Twin with desmodromic valve gear. This is a beautiful classic Ducati machine. We restored this for a local Ducati dealer in North County. We assembled the motor first, as you can see in the photos below, and then the bike. Awesome.
