Stage 3— Columbus to Chattanooga

Sunday, September 7, 2014 — Columbus to Chattanooga

Stage three took us from Columbus, Georgia to Chattanooga, Tennessee. The trip for the riders was around 220 miles. It started off great with all four motorcycles running well. The riders were to meet at the end of the day at the Coker Tire Museum for a hosted dinner. The museum is chock full of amazing vintage motorcycles and cool signage.

Three of the four riders came in again, on time, with full points. Unfortunately Sharon’s bike seized a piston AGAIN. (The undersized pistons couldn’t take the pressures of the road.) They call Sharon “the destroyer”. This is her third piston. 🙂
