Tuesday, September 9, 2014 — Clarksville to Cape Girardeau
Stage Five — This stage went from Clarksville, Tennesse to Cape Girardeau, Missouri for a total of 199 miles. Three of the Team Vino riders are rocking and rolling. The crew hits the road early to get to the hotel where Sharon’s pistons and cylinders have been over-nighted from California. The bike must be rebuilt and ready to ride tomorrow! The other three riders on Team Vino got their full compliment of points.
It was an interesting ride for everyone. We crossed the Mississippi River and went through three states to do it: Tennessee, Illinois and Missouri. It is ranked as the fourth longest River in the world.
